flibert2
Madron 1 Halestown 1 GAME PLAYED IN WINDY CONDITIONS MADRON TOOK LEAD EARLY IN FIRST HALF, NO REF,LONG GRASS BUT ENTERTAINING, HALSETOWN EQUALISED THRO LUKE BRADFORD, AND COULD HAVE WON BUT FOR THE WORST MISS I HAVE EVER SEEN IN ANY STANDARD OF FOOTBALL, 3 YARDS OUT, CENTRE OF GOAL, AND NO KEEPER, AND STILL MANAGE TO SIDE FOOT WIDE. stevethedoor
Mining 3 Redruth Utd Res 2 - 2 St Ives Mariners (h/t 1-1) Back down to earth with a bang for the reds and lucky to escape with a draw, St Ives had much the better of the game and probably deserved to win it but for a late equaliser from player manager Darin Thomas Big thanks to Darren Lewarne for reffing the first half and Phil Nicholls for reffing the second, game played in a great spirit making life easier for them Good luck to St Ives for the rest of the season and bring on Heamoor on sat

B Manning
This would seem to be the 3rd evening game that struggled to get an official, I wouldn`t have thought there was a shortage for evening games.
Fatso
Storm 8 - 0 Gwinear (HT) 3-0 Storm pitch not great after a heavy pre-season programme and the grass not being cut. However probably not as bad as I make it sound. Storm playing some excellent football at times, especially in the second half. Some good goals scored, apparently that Dave Price lad scored another screamer??? haha! The most notable mention has to go to Danny (CAT) Wright, who was prolific for the second team last season and has forced his way into the first team squad. He came on with about 15-20 mins to go, set up a goal after an amazing run, oh, and only scored 4 goals!!!!!!!! Thanks to Gwinear for a good game, their preperations weren't helped by players turning up late etc.

The General
I must say I was pleased with a point but both sides had real opportunities to win it in the end. Buryan have some very good players, Garath May and Gavin Edwards are just 2 of them. They will take a few points off teams for sure!
Never touched him ref!!
I was gonna win it mike, but lenny blew the whistle just as i was about to unleash a 40 yard thunderbolt! Plus i couldn't undo the rope that gallers tied to me so i couldn't get past the halfway line!! :D
