Paul
St Blazey came undone in the glorious weather in front of over 100 sun soaked fans. Sadly for the passionate and vocal Blazey fans, they couldnt help St Blazey pull back the two goals they conceded early on. Clyst looked a decent side at times in the first half so credit to them. They might surprize a few this season. St Blazey did pull one back mid way threw the first half with a Richardson header. We also had a good shout for a penalty but only a corner given. Buckler in the Blazey goal had a strong challenge towards the end of the first half and hurt his ankle and didnt manage the play the second half. St Blazey did struggle to create chances and missed the suspended Danny Bance to push St Blazey on. But with the clock ticking down, the Clyst defence well to sleep leaving Richardson unmarked. He flicked the ball on to Danny Zalick who after one touch rifled the ball past Nick Moyse in the Clyst goal but the the ball flew back of the post and away to safety. A good match but St Blazey will see it as a missed chance to push towards the top of the table. Next up, Porthlevan away in the vase. A good away following is planned. :drink:
Paul
Just to add to the above, today could have been a record for the worst away following from a visiting club. We cant be 100% sure but we believe there wasnt no more then 2...yes 2, away fans. Its almost more realistic that they wernt travelling fans but just neutrals watching in which case it meant not a single away fan in Blaize Park!!

But then I notice lsat Year we had only 54 here for their visit against an average 118 and at Bodmin there were 44 against their average of 101. Would appear to say more about Clyst I would have thought.
