jollyman
Newquay have already played the top 3 ! and now play Helston on Saturday so perhaps one of my team mates may make a valid comment on which of the early runners show most promise ! cornishteddyboy
Pz played Perranporth tonight. Perranporth got the job done but played with no passion. As someone said they were playing like robots. There was passion on the terraces but on the pitch it was as flat as a pancake. Report to follow. Guest Peppermint
Jollyman - you must be worried about getting a place in the squad now!!!!!!! Hope you are having a good holiday.
jollyman
I know Peppermint ! I knew when I booked a holiday to coincide with the start of the season I was heading for trouble! If my role this year is to stand on the touch line growling at the likes of Andy Harris, Tom Taylor, joff Bunt, Aaron Howe and Shaun Lawrence (and others) playing in the central midfield role I crave then it will surely spur us on to greater things. There is a healthy competition for places and Iw ill be happy to get whatever games I can this year. Everyone realises that you have to play 100% when you get the shirt. 4 points after 4 games doesnt seem too great a start but with the players missing and the opposition played to date, that is more than acceptable and lets see if we can push on and consolidate the sixth place achieved last year in an increasingly competitive league. Its all looking good at Mount Wise this year.
