AJW
Grampound Res. 2-1 Threemilestone Res. (HT 2-0) An entertaining game played in a good spirit. TMS Res. looked vulnerable to quick breaks in the first half but their good share of second-half possession meant they probably deserved a draw, although a very young and makeshift Grampound back four were rarely opened up. Good luck to TMS Res. for the season Grampound and Threemilestone first teams meet tomorrow (Wednesday 20th August) at Grampound, kick-off 6.30pm. Guest Luffy
Thanks to Grampound for the friendly. The first half was a little disjointed from TMS and to be honest although Grampound scored twice, TMS should have at least gone into the break all square. A change of formation saw a better performance from the side and apart from the odd break from the homeside; TMS should have scored more that their one goal. The team managed to hit the woodwork five times, at present we are playing some good football but need to finish when we have the chance. Grampound played well although they were a little vulnerable when the ball was moved quickly. Their goalkeeper had a blinder, and made some excellent saves. The first team take on Grampounds first team tonight should be interesting. Once again all the best to Grampound and we will see you next year for another friendly. Andy Merrifield scored the TMS goal.

Guest Luffy
Good to see the youngsters coming through. Our back three then four average age was 18. It is good to see so many youngster still wishing to play football instead of just roaming the streets. I think that it gives them a focus when they can represent a club. Good luck Grampound.
