kelvin hunkin
Took in the second half on saturday to get a glimpse of these two rebuilt sides.Millbrook were better than expected for such a young side and looked particularly good going forward, the number 7 will need to be careful however as not all Refs will be as tolerant of his regular kicks at opponents. However it looks like millbrook will improve significantly on last year. St austells blend of youth and experience should see them in the top third. They will be disappointed at the goals they conceded but I expect this to be a rare occurence once they sort the full back positions.Going forward they looked good and Nanks and Bods linked well. The free kick goal from Bods will take some beating if Poltair park is to see anything better this season. Overall good entertainment on a miserable day and good luck to both teams for the season, particularly the lcal lads at St austell.
razor61
How many ex Sticker players were involved? I know Scott Ansell scored the winner but as a matter of interest it would be nice to know.
