Guest Postie Pidge
The Combination League game between Falmouth and St Day has been postponed due to the FA Cup replay. Why? The pitch took a battering against Parkway and it is silly risking two games in two days, especially the 178 miles Shaftesbury have to travel on Wednesday afternoon. So as to ensure the game goes ahead on the scheduled day (and before the Saturday as per FA regulations) the Combination League have kindly arranged for the postponement. Mike Odgers
Common sense by Falmouth Town/St.Day /JCCL bearing in mind the Shaftesbury players could have up to a day and a half off work to play this tie. Radio Cornwall 5 day weather forcast shows rain/sunshine every day with Monday being the wettest.
