Troon 1st v St Day 1st friendly...!!

Recommended Posts

Troon AFC 2 St Day 0

Troon AFC continue to upset senior teams at home this pre-season, a good ref kept control of the game with a few sin bins which were well deserved.

Troon took a first half lead through Danny Bell, who took advantage from some poor defending and slotted past Bob Hoskins, then in the second half started at a fast tempo with troon the better side yet again.

Shane richards continued his goal scoring with a sweet volley over the keepers head and that put troon 2 up.

All in all a good game, both teams had players missing, but as i've said before, 11 v 11 on the pitch so no excuses!! lol

Best of luck to all at ST Day for the forth-coming season.

no excuses as you said j. ref was ok but i thought he missed a few for both sides. as you said 11 v11 on the day. don't think my ankle injury helped as i would have tipped shanes volley over the bar if it wasn't for that, but i take nothing away from your side you deserved the win and we all wish you well for the coming season..
