Jonah
The funeral of the late Ian Butcher will take place at Chacewater Church on Thursday the 14th of August at 12.30. Ian, was the father of Greg and Andrew, but he sadly died last week. Greg and Andrew have played for a number of clubs between them over the past few years (St Agnes, Truro, St Blazey, Penryn, Helston and Goonhavern) as well as being involoved with the Cornwall squad. Ian and his Wife Jean would always be seen on a Saturday afternoon watching one, or ideally, both of their sons playing. Ian was a former Chief in the Royal Navy (where I first met him), he was a true gentleman, he will be sadly missed. The family have asked me to post this on here and have said that anybody who wishes to pay their last respects are more than welcome. The funeral will be followed by a wake held at Chacewater Village hall. Jonah
