Mike Odgers Posted August 10, 2008 Report Share Posted August 10, 2008 Two promoted teams off to a flyer Team Bath who had a pre season in Cornwall (Wendron/Falmouth) won 6-0 at Fisher Athletic and the meteoric rise of AFC Wimbledon continues witha 4-1 win at Newport County and their great following boosted the attendance to 2546 (The average Conf.S gate last season was 533) AFC Wimbledon was only formed in 2002 when their old team moved from Plough Lane to Milton Keynes and the AFC was created by their supporters who didn't want to move or the travel..
