Jimbo
Thanks to Andy and his team for playing this game at quite short notice. It was a good work out for both sides. Details as follows Newquay 3 Penryn 0 half time - scorers Lee Bradd x2, Steve Kellow. Newquay 6 Penryn 2 full time - scorers Luke Rigby, Perry Harvey and Dominic Pullen. Don't know Penryn scorers, bu the first goal was a thunderbolt from a free kick. Good luck to Penryn for the coming season.

Guest Peppermint
I agree with Jimbo and Iamthebest - it was an entertaining match and certainly a great workout for both sides. Thanks to Steve Tootle and his two assistants for officiating. I did feel a little sorry for our keeper who played in the second half because both goals came from deflections that meant he had no chance. Apologies to Penryn players, supporters and managers about the Clubhouse situation and the Bingo but that is why we do not normally have matches on a Thursday evening but it was arranged due to the RAF who then called off and thanks to Penryn for agreeing to play. The Bingo players support the Club fifty two weeks a year and the Club cannot afford to miss their contributions to the Club's funds. Most people who needed a drink could have one and nearly everyone seemed to accept the situation. Good luck to Penryn for the coming season. Deano11
the second goal certainly had a cracking deflection on it but you gota take them when you can, shame about the bingo as could have had a skinful and popped into DIVAS for little while. Good Luck for season Newquay
