Many thanks to Helston for putting out their full first team against the reserve team. Unfortunately I was not at the game because of work. Thanks to Elliott and Phil for running the team in my absence.

From all accounts it was a really good performance from the lads and being only one nil down at half time, was a testament to the way they defended. Second half saw Helston double their lead before Weir scored for TMS, the homeside extended their lead before Mitchell again pulled TMS within one goal. Helston secured the win in the last few minutes of the match.

Man of the Match for TMS was Tom Davies.

Well done to all the lads who took part, training on Thursday (7th Aug) at Polstain Road. Next friendly away to Marazion 9th August 08.

Once again thanks to all at Helston, for their hospitality and I hope they have a very successful season.
