Gorgie Posted July 25, 2008 Report Share Posted July 25, 2008 Storm 2 Holman Res 5 Mixture of Storm 1sts and 2nds were well beaten by very good Holman Reserves side, including former senior players Mark Uren, Ryan Treloar, Danny Scorer and Wayne Brown and with pretty good options throughout the side will definitely be more of a threat in Falmouth/Helston Div1 this season. Also have joint managers now, Steve Roscow and Dave Marks! matchu78 Posted July 26, 2008 Report Share Posted July 26, 2008 Agree totally, we were trying a new 4-3-3 formation for the second time, it worked well against st day but didn't work so well vs Holmans. We were played off the pitch in stages despite there not being much of a difference in the quality of players, Holmans had their tactics spot on whilst we persevered with a formation that clearly wasn't working. But then that is what preseason is for to try new ideas this one just didn't work out for us and full marks to Holmans for their performance.
