johnnie bates
Can someone let me know if div 3 will be 9 players per team as i have been informed, and what is the closing date for new teams
Dave James
Div 3 has been scrapped totally now that the top 4 teams in Div 1 have been accepted into the SWL . Looks likely 2 Divs of 6 - 8 teams in each ...if the missing teams bother to send their paperwork in . Chaiman .....not practical to put them all in 1 Div due to playing standards of previous years Div 3 teams ......does anybody wants 20-0 scorelines when Div 1 meets Div 3 team ??? Also clubs would not play up to 30 games a season with pitches after Saturday games in winter being unplayable for weeks on end ......as was proved last season with only 14 league matches they were still playing them in mid May !!!! Guest
I must admit it is a bit of a blow only having two divisions and just 15 teams. The season kicks off on Sunday 7th September.
