whuru Posted April 30, 2008 Report Share Posted April 30, 2008 Wadebridge 2 Goonhavern 2 Excellent end to end game played in the right spirit and only went ahead due to some frantic pitch forking and sweeping by most of wadebridge team, Ref Gary Davies wasn't happy with amount of water on the pitch so delayed kick off whilst work was carried out. Josh Mitchell headed the visitors in front in the first half, Josh Insley and Martin Cooke put the home side in front but Paul Robertson equalised in the 75th minute for the Gooners. Wadebridge should have won with the amount of chances they created and only Johnny May will know how he missed from 2 yards out !!!!!!!! Gary Davies had an excellent game in the middle and was the best Ref we have had this year by a long way. Good luck to Wadebridge next season and congratulations for this season, it was also nice to see my old wadebridge chum Roger Franks looking so well.
