Coopsie
HAPPY ST GEORGES DAY TO ALL Taking a risk here aren't you ECPL?. You know how much we're constantly told that we do not live in England and how much the Cornish wish we would just p**s off back to our own country . I'm with chairman on this one. "ENGLISH & PROUD"
Guest
No risk at all. It is England all the way from the Isles of Scilly all the way up to Berwick on Tweed. We all have our rural identities and should rightly be proud of them but we all come under the same queen and flag. Let us just enjoy the day. The one thing the Engish are very good at and that is keeping St Georges Day low key. Let it remain so

somersetspur
Cant believe this thread. All you cornishmen wishing everyone happy St.Georges Day. If the people who run the country, cant be bothered to have a Bank Holiday, like most other countries, why should we bother? I dont care what response I get. A Cornishman born and bred, and bloody proud of it. End of story.

And your not that proud to be Cornish, are you SOMERSETspur, or would you like to be called Cornishspur? :drink:
somersetspur
Typical Gooner.Read my thread.I said cant believe the Cornishmen wishing everyone happy St.Georges Day,not English men and WOMEN. The reason my handle is SOMERSETSPUR,is first I live in Somerset and second Im a massive Tottenham supporter . That dont change my place of birth. So carry on Anita supporting that famous English club, with all those ENGLISH PLAYERS maybe you would like to wish them a happy St Georges Day. Most of them wouldnt know what the hell you was going on about. Talk about me being proud.Your having a laugh.
Guest Sullivan
I was out yesterday evening in town and it was a normal night (quite busy due to football). What I find quite surprising is how we (the english) seem to celebrate and drink more on St Patricks Day than St Georges Day! Doesn't bother me just thought I'd mention it. Somersetspurs get out the right side of bed moro, you seem to be in a proper mood today :D
Fatso
True, True, TRUE Sullivan! Good man. We should get white and red hats for drinking 4 pints of lager in future!
