John Thomas Allcock Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 Game On (unless things drastically change).
Billy Jacka Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 To be fair the after the News Years day postponement the where NO issues between the two clubs, we had kept in constant contact in the days leading up to the game and even during the morning pitch inspection when the ref declared the game on. There is a very healthy respect between the two clubs so as far as we are concerned there where no issues. John Thomas Allcock 1
sportsman10 Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 Parkway 2 -3 Swindon super marine well not sure where to start with this. Parkway dominated the first half and should have put this game to bed loads of chances including 1 I still have no idea how wright missed. Callum hall got another brilliant goal What a player he is. (Need him stay fit any chance of staying up. ) and parkway looked comfortably better side the 2nd half well I don’t like to criticise a ref but some of the decisions were utterly baffling and it was almost bordering on incompetence . Swindon equalised before Scarf scored a cracking header from corner before Swindon again equalised with a weak free kick and then took the lead .After that it was all parkway it looked a definite red card for Swindon player who just took parkway player out and parkway should have had a penalty add in the Swindon keeper making 2 brilliant saves . Parkway can look at this as a really harsh loss . The manager got sent off again I didn’t see what for I assume dissent . Not sure how many reds that is now but not good look was a very enjoyable match no Dylan jones I overhead someone say he was on trial I’m not sure who with . jumped in the car put in the radio to listen to the end of argyle brilliant win at Brentford in fa cup
sportsman10 Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 Rewatching that tackle in the parkway game on the highlights it’s a shocking decision he wasn’t red carded. It looked bad in real time but the ref is 6 yards away looking straight at it and the ball does not change direction it’s knee high. The ref needs to explain why he not sent him off.

IF it's the tackle around 5 minutes in, I agree its a red card challenge but not sure on the knee high. Looks like a 2 footed lunge, but at ankle height. Irrespective, it certainly meets threshold for excessive force and endangering safety of opponent and a red card should have been issued. sportsman10 and Tractor Boy 2

Ticks all the boxes for a Red for me. Said so in real time on the day and video confirms my view. Ironically was same guy the stoppage time handball appeal was against.
