Soccer Follower
I understand that this half of the draw is subject to a CCFA decision on an earlier tie.
baggie
OOOOH...SF..please tell me more.
Life of Spice
The CCFA are awaiting a descision from the FA on a first round game between Spice & St Just, which St just won after extra time and penalties, but allegedly played a player registered with a different club which they are putting down to an admin error! So whatever the outcome they'll be a long wait til the other semi!!!!!!
Coopsie
Surely if they played a player registered with a different club, the result is overturned and Spice will be put through?. This happened with us (Gulval reserves) last season. We lost to Crown Inn Glory in the Semi final of the Jollys shield but they brought on a player who was not correctly registered and we were put through to the final. The same outcome must surely be the same in this case?
Soccer Follower
It's been with the CCFA for a a decision for 11 weeks!
Coopsie
It's been with the CCFA for a a decision for 11 weeks! Stupidity personified. Three months and still nothing done. RIDICULOUS.
Life of Spice
I will defend the CCFA in this case, they are waiting on a descion from higher up!! It is quite frustrating wondering if we've still got something to play for this season. It's long winded how it all happened but apparently the player involved did not play for the team he was signed for, or his brother played with the same first initial. Which was put on the other teams' team sheet. VERY confusing!!!!!!!
Coopsie
VERY confusing or convenient excuse?. Apologies to the CCFA, not their fault if they are being held up by other people/authorities.
baggie
Either way it needs to be sorted out pritty soon, we're running out season & still have quite a few games left.
Fatso
We (Storm) are in the QF of this cup and have still not found out who the opponent is or when we are playing. Is there a confirmed date for the final yet? Because we are meant to be travelling to America to play an exhibition match on May 12th, but if this cup drags on any more that may interfere! We have been told that we will possibly play St.Just or Pendeen Res in the next round and that Trevenson are already in the Semi. Can anyone confirm anything please?
sammo 66
hi ya pricey i think if you read one of the above postings you will see everyone is waiting for a appeal from spice of life against st.just . hopefully they will sort it out soon
Fatso
Cheers Sammo! Got in touch with the league yesterday and they are still awaiting appeal. They can not give an exact time scale and although the final is scheduled for the 11th May this may have to change. We have been told to go on tour regardless.
