PascoeR88 Posted Saturday at 19:07 Report Posted Saturday at 19:07 Dropship reserves 0 - 4 Mawgan Mawgan, deserved winners, beating us to every first ball, second ball, and third ball. Hunted us down in packs, and absolutely showed a lot better attitude than we did and deserved the 3 points! Good luck for the season. Questionably reffed by George Pattison 😉 (Nice to see you still out there mate)

Nothing malicious but grown men acting like complete children I can see why there struggling for numbers I would imagine there wouldn’t be many who would play in the same team as some of them. Bit of sour grapes here I'd say, the game was played in the right spirit with both teams giving as good as they got wouldn't you say? Arguably kept your team in it with some seriously poor offside calls in the first half, taking advantage of the refs position on the pitch (not blaming him for that) but hey that's football we'll all be on the end of these things at some point through the season, we should have made life easier for ourselves in the first place. There's been a lot of well documented changes over at Penryn this year, some good, some arguably not so good, but everyone is committed to playing with everyone there and a team spirit is building again. Not sure where your supporter comment came from as most, off not all of them were the opposite side of the pitch 🤷 Still, nevermind, your builder has done a cracking job of the facility's and thanks for the hospitality afterwards.
WhenboredAFC Posted Sunday at 11:39 Report Posted Sunday at 11:39 Falmouth United vs Frogpool Earlier on in the season when the side both met Falmouth took the 3 points. This time round Frogpool wanted to take the 3 points. They had done a lot of recruitment as a lot of new faces in their team this time around. Once again Mother Nature decided she wanted to play. Fal kicked off the first half applying loads of pressure pinning Frogpool back however Frogpool took the lead directly from a corner (wind assisted) Falmouth had several balls cleared/blocked on the line as the froggies throwing their bodies around doing anything to defend their lead. The keeper pulled off some outstanding saves as well denying Falmouth from every opportunity. second half Falmouth continued to pepper the Frogpool team as they where camped in their half but with some beautiful skill from the froggies midfielder going past 3 played smashing it past the keeper making it 2-0. Falmouth eventually crawled a goal back from a mistake from the keeper 2-1 however wasn’t enough couldn’t break the 9 man defence. Credit to frogpool especially the keeper who in my opinion was man of the match and to their captain to ran the midfield for them 3 points deserved for Frogpool good luck to them for the rest of the season. I thought the referee was outstanding today the manner he controlled the game was excellent so thank you sir
