Darin Morse
Sticker 2 (Hocking, B Chapman) Callington 2 (Goodright 2) A draw just about right, Sticker much better after half time and will probably feel they did enough to win, Callington very youthful with a couple of lively wingers and a giant centre-forward, two great finishes from Goodright including an overhead kick, well played both teams, more Friday night action please

Byron10
Calstock 5 torpoint 7 (AET) 5-5FT one of the most bizarre games I’ve been involved in which included 2 pens, 2 reds, 12 yellows and a ref that nearly took us straight to pens after FT. probably missing other bits aswell. day didn’t start well when we turned up to find out the pitch was underwater 24 hours before… safe to say it wasn’t really playable with 2 parts basically a bog but the ref was more than happy for the game to go ahead! (fair enough then) we tried to play in spells with Matt cotter especially standing out but ultimately it became a game of who made the least amount of mistakes. We actually came seconds away from going out of the competition if it wasn’t for abit of magic from the returning will Ferguson who scored from an impossible angle. The ref blew for FT and indicated that the game went straight to pens. After a brief check of his phone I was delighted to find out there was an extra 30 mins to play (The way the game went I can’t say I fancied us to go on and win via pens) We’d finally tuned up and during extra time the difference in quality and fitness + superb leadership from Callum bays showed and without any further mistakes or pressure from the home side we managed to grab 2 goals and the game was done. calstocks ill discipline probably didn’t help them as they had 2 men sent during extra time and racked up 8 yellows during the game itself. brilliant game if you were a neutral 😂 heartbreak for the home side but in all honestly I don’t think they cared going by some of the nonsense coming from their players during the 120 mins. definitely heard the number 88 shout “expelliarmus” a few times for whatever weird reason. all the best to calstock for the rest of the season if they took football as seriously as taking the mick out of eachother they’d be alright. for us it’s back to league duty away at st Stephens. Dwyane Pipe
Have to agree with Byron10 Tobias chapman and Ben Williams are a disgrace to Calstock , Tobias Chapman has more tracksuits than anyone I know, paying stupid money down at Calstock , can only think the money Ben puts in all there back pockets is from his trips to Vegas and his big wins, heard £80 a game Chapman on

Good luck in the rest of the competition and season Torpoint. Each club is ran differently and yes we have a good group of players who can play at a decent level. But football for us isn't just about the game, it has to be done with a smile on your face. All 22 of us in the squad know this and don't take ourselves too seriously. All harmless fun, not just for us but to 2 chickens, 4 dogs and 5 people from the village who come and watch. Byron10

Please don’t take what I’ve said the wrong way, apologies if it’s come across as a dig. If that’s how you want to go about your Saturdays and everyone’s happy then fair play, completely agree people have to smile and enjoy their weekends. Got a good chance of going up IMO some players playing well below their level 👏 goodluck in your cup game today and for the rest of the season. Boxy
Looe Town 1st 3 -1 Dobwalls 2nd Looe took the lead 3 minutes in with a goal for Josh Doney, assisted by Reece Willmott. The build up play to the goal was great with several clean, quick passes to then be slotted away to make it 1-0. Looe scored again on the 30th minute with Reece Willmott. His first attempt being saved and pushed back in front of him to then score on the rebound. Looe had several chances not taken and should have scored a couple more before the half. In the second half Dobwalls came back at Looe and form two good chances one ended up with a goal and the other a great save from Ryan Cooke. Their goal was a nicely timed halve volley over our CB’s and Jack Gaynor chipped it over our keeper. Looe seemed to lose focus and allowed Dobwalls back in to the game for a good part of the second half. Finnley Bartlett came on along with Gideon, for Callum Palfrey and Theo Scott. Not long after Finnley made a great individual run and slotted in our 3rd making it 3-1. Great to see Finnley and Barny back on the team sheet yesterday. It was though, decided to not play Barny and give him another week to recover from his injury. Theo Scott was given his first start and massively impressed us with his performance. He we just short of the MOTM by Matt Steed would play brilliantly through the game in the middle of the park. Overall, not our best performance and the quietness in the changing rooms after proved the lads weren’t happy with their game. Dobwalls 2nd gave us a game and showed why they are currently top of their division too. Goals Josh Doney – Reece Willmott assist Reece Willmott Finnley Bartlett Next week we play Liskeard Athletic at home.

Martin Hunn
St Dominic 0 North Petherwin 3 We entertained North Petherwin F.C on Saturday, and were outplayed as the away side won 3-0. We had an early chance to take the lead as Kieren Jasper was fouled by the keeper. Connor Bone stepped up but his penalty was saved. This was as close as we went all game, and by half time the game was in the grasps of the away side as they took a 2 nil lead into the break. We hoped for a reaction at the start of the second half, but that never came. 15 minutes into the second half the game was put to bed by the away side from a header from a corner. We huffed and puffed for the remainder off the game, but never really created a real good chance. A poor performance, after decent start to our season the boys will be hoping to bounce back and get back to winning ways next week against St Blazey. Man of the match went to Jasper, for all his effort in the game! The Badger
