What happen to St Austell ? Well  Beaten at home again struggling massively see Jake miller left and signed for willand.

but after signing max Gilbert , Calum Watson. Rosenquest  etc I am Very surprised I thought they be competitive at least with squad they have but seem to be the whipping boys.

With the money being thrown about as well, very disappointing start to the season

St Blazey 3v1 Welton Rovers. Att.102

A brilliant 8 days with a win in the F.A Vase beating Saltash, a point away at Brixham midweek followed by today's 3v1 win against Welton Rovers.

Welton might be bottom of the table, but they are gradually building a competitive team and were not coming all the way to St Blazey to just hand over three points.

St Blazey opened the scoring in the opening minute when a low shot deflected past the Welton goal keeper. Welton equalised soon after after Tinsley was judged to have missed timed a tackle and the ref awarded a penalty which was converted.

St Blazey huffed and puffed for the rest of the first half without really creating much.

The second half was much better. Newton put St Blazey ahead with a great strike and then St Blazey took control and created more chances and kept Welton in their own half for long periods. A late Gilbert lob finished the game off and St Blazey now sit 11th in the league.

Nailsea away next Saturday.

St Blazey like ivybridge look to  to have put poor start to the season behind them both and finally growing into league.
