Knight Rider Posted April 12, 2008 Report Share Posted April 12, 2008 Penryn 3rds v Falmouth Albion finished 1-0. referee ruined a good game by sending off a penryn player ten minutes in and then an albion player with ten minutes to go, both for bad language but not directed at anyone and definately not directed at the ref. it would have been a good game for both sides as both teams needed a win to get out of the relegation zone, unfortunately spoiled. however unlucky to falmouth albion but good luck for the remaining games. Guest mariner Posted April 12, 2008 Report Share Posted April 12, 2008 FALMOTHH ATHLETIC 2 ST KEVERNE 1 A great game to be a part of after creating many chances by ath in the first half but not quite taking them due to sum late blocks, clearences off the line and the uprights both teams went into the break level. Both teams started the second half brightly then 20 mins in a good ball from the right wing found alan thomas and he put his header into the top corner. Athletic then changed formation to put 5 in the middle of the park, 5 mins later it was level jake harvey ( best player on the day) broke clear with his pace and lobbed the keeper. Good luck to all remaining sides but Pendeen deserve a little luck after the years in the doldrums. 3-1 win today and another 2 for Trathen and 1 for Copeland. See us through to another semi.
