Both Sides of the Tamar
Agree Dave. Will be going to the SWPL game at Lanson next Sat, but would have gone to Poltair if those games were on the Sunday 😞

Trying to get pitches for finals and semi finals has been a struggle this year, with most clubs now on to maintenance there aren’t many choices on grounds or dates, especially when you have some of the teams competing being from polar opposite ends of the county. justanopinion
Some clubs with suitable facilities including lights finished home fixtures by mid April. Those that pride themselves on a 'surface' will have planned to start end of season renovations asap. Leagues looking for last minute venues to stage SF's or Finals will have a limited choice for that reason. A wider choice of venue's may have been possible with better planning or earlier bookings.
