Enjoy these highlights, and the footage is well filmed and edited, but would somebody please give Steve Massey a copy of the teamsheet? Understand that he is there to provide colour, and not formal commentary, but he barely mentioned any of the Millbrook players by name. Not even during the penalty shoot out

You are correct when you say that Steve is there to add “colour” (and a lot more BTW) and is not a conventional commentator. He does have a team sheet that he writes out before each game. TBF the numbers were not clear on the Millbrook shirts and it was difficult to see who scored the first goal. But you have a point.

Can confirm that when Helston played at Mousehole Steve M went to great lengths to get the details of the Mousehole players correct, not just frequently asking the bloke standing to his left (er, me) players’ names but also bits of background that he fed into his commentary too.

He does a pretty good job since he has just started doing it from scratch!! No offence but more entertaining than some of his predecessors. (Apart from Dave Deacon of course!)
