andy
The Vospers v St Austell game was postponed recently and the league has moved the match to first Sat in May because St Austell didn't want to travel mid week. Millbrook's game at St A was postponed last weekend but Millbrook are being made to travel midweek to St A later in April for a 6-30 kick off, despite a request to play on a Saturday. A 6-30 kick off in St Austell is going to be difficult, if not impossible, for Plymouth and east Cornwall based players that work. (Phil H - this isn't a personal criticism. You've done an excellent job in the first season of the SWPL but there seems to be an inconsistency here.)
Guest Phil H
Only 3 comments : 1) St Austell travelled to Vospers and the game was postponed due to a lack of a referee which was not St Austells fault. By re-arranging the game for a Saturday I have ensured that they have credit for 1 wasted journey already made. 2) Millbrook had a game at Goonhavern abandoned following a players injury, not Millbrooks fault and they have been given another Saturday date as credit for 1 wasted journey already made. 3) If Millbrook are at Goonhavern and St Austell are at Vospers on the last Saturday of the season when exactly do you suggest I schedule St Austell v Millbrook for ? (Don't say the 10th of May because the season finishes on the 3rd)
