Constantine 0 new inn titans 4.

The game that would clinch the league, titans needed only a point but wanted to win the league in style and went ahead early on, jack pacey out right whipped in a great ball and titans front man johnny jones tucked it away on the volley, despite the early lead from the titans the home side offered some stubborn resistance. 1-0 titans.

Constantine were hanging there hat on a long out ball but titans dealt with this, they played some nice stuff in patches at times over complicated things but Robbie penfold was a constant threat down the left and he soon provided the 2nd for the titans as he swept a ball front post and Jack pacey had made a run out to in and glanced the header in for 2-0 and it stayed 2 at the break.

The titans midfield 3 were seeing more of the ball than they had in recent weeks, got back to controlling, dominating and simplifying things, the rest comes easy, Robbie penfold came inside to nico penfold who rolled the ball into Ryan Baber onto connor Arthur who injected speed into the attack onto Johnny Jones and out to pacey back to Arthur for 3-0

Constantine kept fighting they played some good stuff in their own right and kept the titans on  their guard

The 4th goal came from mikey catteralls ever willingness to run and provide, he was chopped down by the keeper in the box, upstepped johnny Jones for his 2nd, titans 4th, their 2nd consecutive league title in the bag, a great couple years for shaun Isaacs and his men in yellow, 2 cups to come and the titans don't look done yet.

Man of the match today Ryan Baber
But the story is- THE TITANS ARE CHAMPIONIES

Percy Stephens cup result was St Buryan 0, St Ives Reserves 4.

Says 1-1 aet, and 4-3 to St Buryan after pens on full-time!

And not knowing too much about the format of this cup for this season, why was there penalties if it’s on a group basis at this stage?

Quite simply a technical error. Whoever enters the scores via SMS from St Ives is obviously responsible for both reserve team scores, which was initially entered as a 4-0 win, and for their 1st team (who won 4-3 on penalties). The last score entered is the one that the system displays. Both teams can amend the score either via text or through full-time.
