Just home from a buzzing Bickland after a superb win for Falmouth over title-chasing Bridgwater. 4-1 did not flatter the home side. I have seen Falmouth play six or seven times this season and this was by far the best I have seen them perform. Town's pacy attack is always hard to handle but they were the better side all over the park today - solid at the back, tidy and industrious in midfield. Bridgwater, whose travelling support was good fun, never got going and many of their players seemed more intent at chipping at the ref all the time rather than playing the game. Nevertheless, you could see there was a good side in there and they will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season. The general feeling at the end of the match was that Falmouth had been superb but that Bridgwater had been disappointing.

Curious that Dan Jennings would change the team he is signed on for as cover.  Liskeard a great side and flying high, but maybe he fancies a challenge at a higher level..........

Great performance again from Town today.  Really starting to step up to the mark in this league.  Along with Mousehole, they are the form team at the moment.I

Brabyn relishing playing down the middle and didn't give the Bridgwater centre-half a moment's peace. Scott Kellow given MOM whilst standing in for Tom Moxham at left back. The real outstanding performance was from Luke Barner. A goal and an assist but quality all through the game.

Crowd looked bigger than 500 but that probably didn't include the 100+ kids that were there. Town really are providing an entertaining day out for the Falmouth public these days. Near Football League atmosphere for £6 a head and the kids go free.

UP THE TOWN!!

Town were superb today, looks like they have really started to find  their feet in this league. Solid back 5, good defending, communication and distribution.  Midfield were outstanding, looked fit, hungry for every second ball and created well . Combined well with front the 3 who were full of good movement & pace, skill and some good finishing.
Strong bench all capable of making a difference
Great team performance 👍

According to the Western League FA website Saltash didn’t play on the 29th August and Dan Jennings didn’t make a single appearance for them.

Did Saltash play Bitton on the 29th? Has it been expunged?

Correct, they played Bitton on the 29/08 and that is why it no longer appears on the fixtures/results. But DJ definitely made an appearance as we were there watching.

Edited to add line-up from that game ..
