Some not very forward thinking clubs in the fixtures above!

Surely they could of looked at changing the kick of times themselves rather than following the allocated times set.

For example there will be a significant difference in the attendance Sticker get now compared to if they kicked of at 14.00

They originally were scheduled to kick off at 2pm.

Its Christmas, Boxing Day, a Bank Holiday and whatever people think there is more than just football involved. The games that have selected 11am will benefit from the supporters wishing to watch that particular game. After, the players, managers, volunteers can get on with spending further valued family time during a few days off from work. Maybe....?

People involved with football clubs tend to relish big crowds watching their games mate it's part of the reason why we do it..

Sticker 3 St Dennis 1

The home team started brightly and took an early lead when their skipper, Rich Edworthy scored with a well struck, curling effort from about 25 yards. They increased their lead shortly after when an in swinging corner was glanced home by Haiden Chapman. Sticker had been passing the ball reasonably well up until this point and they looked solid at the back. It looked like a long way back for St Dennis, but to their credit and despite being 2 goals down, they dominated possession for the rest of the half. They did have the ball in the back of the net, but the winger that headed the ball home was given offside. 2-0 at halftime to the home team.
The first goal in the second half was always going to be important and it was the home side that got it, when a free kick was given around 20 yards out. Up stepped Rich Edworthy to send the ball into the back of the net, via the underside of the crossbar, given St Dennis’s keeper, James Hunkin, no chance. The visitors never gave up and replied almost straight away. They were awarded a free kick when the home teams centre back, Connor Cooke (who was outstanding throughout), was booked for pulling back the St Dennis forward. From the resulting free kick it wasn’t lumped into the box, but played short to Mikey Davies, who jinked into the box and was brought down by a rash challenge by the home player. Davies stepped up and smashed the all home, despite the keeper going the right way. The rest of the game was fairly even. The points of note (well the ones that I can remember!) being Mikey Davies getting sin binned for something he said to the assistant referee, a few yellow cards, one or two half chances that came to nothing and veteran Danny O’Hagan coming on for a late cameo.
Overall I felt Sticker deserved their win, but St Dennis kept going until the end. The facilities at Sticker get better every time I visit, and they surely set the blueprint for any village club with ambition to follow. It’s brilliant to see what their hard working committee have achieved over the years. I thought the referee and his assistants had good games. It was nice to get out and watch a decent Boxing Day game and it was good to catch up with a few ex-Probus managers who were there watching as well. Merry Christmas everyone!

Great result for camelford ,really pleased for them, after their upset of having the clubhouse broken into sometime over Christmas with the kitchen ransacked and the PA system stolen.🤨

I was disappointed with Bude, didn't offer much all game, they have a big centre forward that didn't look good enough at this level, he missed his only chance from a couple of yards out, missed the target with the goal gaping. It wasn't quite a 1-0 whipping but not far from it Camels never looked like losing and were always in control. Had a settled side in the last few games, makes all the difference.

A fair summary of the game Chris although the first goal came about from a corner which wasn't a corner as the ball was toe poked off the pitch by a sticker player under pressure from the st Dennis defender sliding in,hard for the assistant ref/lino to see from his angle but it was definitely not a corner other than that it was a well officiated game by 3 youngish refs so all in all a great game to watch shame about the lack of spectators cos they were all in blazey but the looks of it.stickers facilities once again head n shoulders over most other clubs.

G put on the worst performance iv seen. G had no shots first half lucky not 4/5 - 0 at half time. Nqy came out second half 1-0 up and punished them. Only chances G had were gifts from nqy team messing around with the ball out of boredom. Loved G for years but are no were near this level. 8-2 was good for G should been 15-0. Should consider dropping a league to rebuild or can see club going under. Credit to pepermints but cant judge them against such poor side.
