Good Luck to Parkway, massive game away to Barnet. Is there a possibility they’ve got under soil heating?

And hopefully Truro can take their good form to Dorchester.

No, The Hive hasn't got under soil seating. Which is surprising as it's a relatively new stadium.

Looking forward to taking a journey up the Jubilee Line for this, bit of a free hit for Parkway as Barnet are full time pros who currently sit  in the National League play off positions (they may well rotate their side for this as well).

That’s what made me think being a relatively new stadium after Underhill, it may have had heating as a standard fit Ian?

Wasn’t there some controversy about the original planning permission being for a training facility only - which might not have warranted under pitch heating - and then only after Barnet were already using it they then contravened the planning permission and started using it for first team football?

Was originally intended to be the home of Wealdstone, but they ran out of money before it was finished. As you say, Barnet took it on with the stated intention of only using it as a training facility, but then took it as their new home. Upset the Wealdstone supporters as they moved into their area (used to work with one), and also their own fans as they left the Borough Of Barnet (despite the chairman insisting they wouldn't). Non league football, eh?

It’s an odd looking ground (with a first class bar under the main stand 🍺👍) - went to a game there 2 or 3 seasons ago - on one side a stand that wouldn’t embarrass a Premier League ground but the other side was basically just a brick wall at the back of a leisure centre and behind one of the goals the sort of banking that the Western League forces clubs to rope-off.

Tuesday night at Barnet it is then.

A tough effort for Plymouth Parkway to go up there in midweek. Particularly when the weather still isn't supposed to be very good!

A poor result for Truro City today, losing 1-0 away at Dorchester. A game they would've wanted to win, that would've sent them top at Christmas!

Barnet fans now regard this rearranged game as a bit of a nuisance as well, and a distraction from the real business of trying to get promotion back to the Football League. They were due to host table topping Notts County on Tuesday night.

Fair to say it's far from ideal for either team then. With the focus for Barnet very much on gaining promotion back to League 2, could they field a changed side? Thus giving Parkway the chance to cause some kind of upset!

The way Parkway's league fixtures are piling up, progression in the FA Trophy is also far from ideal. An honourable, narrow defeat would (for myself) be the best outcome from tomorrow night. Getting league games played, trying to get some points on the board and ensuring that they stay up , has to be the priority.

A narrow defeat is exactly what it was. To go that close to getting a result though, the team need lots of credit for that. I thought the attendance was a bit disappointing from a Barnet point of view. You'd expect more!
