Cornwall Walking football county finals

At Tretherras Newquay  2pm , teams from all over Cornwall come together for the county finals day , the top 3 from the west and east Division play off today, the bottom 3 teams from the above  also play off for the shield , if you have or maybe are thinking about taking up Walking football come and have a look great fun , fitness social anyone over 50 Male or female most welcome,  links to clubs near you on the FA website  , would also like to thank age UK for sponsoring this years leagues and finals day .

Congrats to Penwith Nomads on being crowned champions on finals day. Dobwalls took the Shield. Excellent event all round. Well done folks.

Penwith  Nomads unbeaten over the season 21 games , West Division winners and now county champions  . Been a great first season of league  walking football , supported by the Ccfa , sponsored by Age UK,  a well organised event , next years league venues already booked , any over 50s Male or females looking to either get some exercise , play competitions lots of clubs around Cornwall,  probably one near you now , information on the Ccfa website  , you dont even to be an ex footballer a few in our club never played before,  it not just the football,  the social side is good as well   , all abilities welcome  , give it ago , great fun , we are also looking out for refs for next season , workshop will be arranged via the ccfa ,
