Helston seem to have struggled ever since that heavy fa cup defeat.  Goals have dried up from shepherd and Wilson. Mistakes ar the back, And I’m  not sure Matt knows his strongest team as seems to change every week.  Sure he sort it out Helston still finish up there

Torpoint should be doing miles better with the squad they have. Really disappointing season so far for them.

The 7-2 beating that Helston took in the FA Cup at the hands of Weston Super Mare seems to have knocked them backwards. They were unbeaten in 14 matches going into this game, and haven't won any of the 5 played since (the Torpoint CSC match was decided on penalties), and have lost the last 4. the 30 players used by Matt Cusack already this season supports the theory about too much chopping and changing in search of the right formula. Still think Cusack will get it right eventually, but will no doubt be aware of the expectations from within the club.

As ever though, Millbrook not getting the credit they deserve. Macca Brown and his new look squad keep confounding the people who thought they would struggle.

From the outside, it would appear that Millbrook rely on a small local squad which dips into their reserve team for players which helps with continuity, hunger and togetherness, whereas, Helston sticks to tried and tested players who have already played at this or higher levels. However, over a whole season, Helston are very unlikely to fade away with the resources they have, but again, it’s so refreshing to see Millbrook doing so well and showing they can more than compete with anyone in this league. They can be proud of what they have already done this season. Saltash seem to have the right player blend this season, a few new faces mixed with core regulars, and a bit more experience in and around the squad. Generally solid.

Millbrook have a small squad and most are local this season is one of building confidence in the new younger players. I feel Saltash will win the league very consistent and great set up. Next season will be different again hopefully more support as less travelling. Millbrook players often supplement thier own playing fee towards travel. That shows club commitment and support they do not have big names or big wages it is enjoyment of playing at this level

Is that why Falmouth are failing?

Oh Town are failing lol. With 2 Cornwall Senior Cup wins, 1 SWPL title, 1 WCP league cup, 1 Charity Bowl winners all in the last 4 seasons. Really enjoying our first season for 40 years in the Western league and remember.. "Weve won it 4 times".......on the trot...... boom :)
