Gary Hocking
Still nothing official from either club or from Cornwall FA on the Saltash / Sticker outcome. I wouldn’t necessarily expect them to make comments on here if the outcome is still up in the air but a statement on their official channels to say that the outcome is being reviewed and when a decision will be made would be helpful. In the meantime we shall all - me included - inevitably fill the vacuum with speculation. I understand the “natural justice” desire to replay the game but that’s not how sports decision-making usually works - if after the contest is over an officiating mistake is discovered then the result usually stands (not just football, all sports). In the old adage, the referee’s decision is final, even when wrong.
