Cornwall Junior Cup

Penzance Reserves 0-5 Troon

Att - 61

Unbeaten Troon were too good for Penzance who tried but could not break their visitors back 5 and keeper.

Troon 3-0 up at half time, eased off a bit but were still able to snuff out the host's attack.

Pz played too long, no goals from about 4-5 chances, Troon on the break, 5 goals from 7 chances. that was the difference.

Good luck Troon in future rounds.

Jubilee cup result.   Att- 30
Pendeen Rovers Reserves (5)Storm (4)

3-1 HT

Not really sure where to start with a report as,let’s just say, this wasn’t the most fluent we’ve been…with a few of our normal starters missing for various reasons,we never really got into our stride and our passing game was missing from the outset. Play either broke down in the final third or we resorted to route one, playing the channels for someone to provide that bit of magic..goals from Leon Dixon again(from the penalty spot) and a brace from Toby Angwin gave us what should of been a comfortable 3-1 lead at halftime. Second half started with Storm pushing for the next goal and for about 20-25 minutes it was ridiculously scrappy, they were first to every ball and were well up for the fight, and we,at times, just rolled over… This didn’t really aid my greying hair problem or help with my foul language as storm kept coming back again and again before goals from Charlie Strick and Mefin slade finally sealed the win. NOT a good day at the office but (as they say) a wins a win and we’re into the next round 🏆 good luck to storm for their season and great to see their whole squad back in the North Inn afterwards, thanks again to them for their wonderful hospitality. Three away trips on the bounce now, let’s hope we improve on this weeks performance but keep getting the results..🖤💛🖤💛

Can’t even argue with this at all

what a game from storms point of view. Never gave up and pushed and pushed to take it to the last minute of the game. Literally the last minute as-well with our fourth

as a club we have come on in leaps and bounds

thanks to the new inn for the scran and good luck to pendeen in the next round
