Goonhavern 2-9 Wendron

Wendron took the lead in the 2nd min and never really looked back! To be fair to Goonhavern they stemmed the tide for 24min after that and had a couple of chances but a 2nd for the visitors on the 26th min and two more before HT with a single reply saw the home side 1-4 down at the break. Some long range efforts that somehow sneaked in and two OG’s made sure the visitors took home the points but Goonhavern were never that many goals worse then Wendron and got a 2nd with about 10 remaining. A ‘no drama’ game with two friendly sides and best of luck to both of them for the season 👍👏

Another red card for St Just Rodney. Right at the death so to late to make a difference to the game.

What a shame you choose to focus on a negative, CTB. I wou LL d always expect balance from a league officer. Met the excellent Johnny Mac yesterday, who was such an inspirational player for the Tinners in the past. Top man. Apparently he's managing  Penzance now. We'll both need to be more fair minded in future, won't we. Sometimes orchids grow despite rubbish heaps. Good to see him: he's always  welcome back home in the People's Republic of Lafrowda.
