We Two
We watched Sticker play Illminster from a higher league and they won a place in the next round scoring the winning goal in the last minute, much to the delight of their car horn blowing and vocifourous supporters. Having had their early lead equalised, Stickers never say die attitude paid dividens against a club who we are told exited the competition last season against Southampton. Well done Sticker, who knows what awaits you in the next round, If it's a home draw we will make the trip down again, especially if you can replicate todays weather justanopinion and Gary Hocking
David Bray
St.Austell 4 Keynsham 6. The Ladies emulating their Men's team yesterday by conceding 6 at Poltair. But at least they scored 4 in reply. Gary Hocking
Gary Hocking
Results above. An unseasonably warm game at the Falmouth Sports Hub as Mousehole ran out 12-1 winners away to FXSU - the thermometer only said 18 degrees but the 3G surface seems to trap and enhance the heat when there’s no cloud cover - warm enough that the referee very sensibly allowed a drinks break midway through the second half. The scoreline tells the tale of the game with Mousehole scoring 7 to FXSU’s 1 in the first half and a further 5 in the second. Jaz Spencer-Amos top-scored with 6 with Mousehole’s other goals coming from Sophie Wilson (2), Sam Richards, Candice Britten, Bex Haywood and Lucy Thomas. Full credit to two teams who both gave it everything until the final whistle and also to referee Scott Coutts. Thecupfootballblogger
