Footy Detective
What a result for Mousehole !!! Look forward to the Helston video too that was some victory. Shocked by Millbrook result and Bridport getting a win will be a confidence booster for them. The rest was as expected but huge congratulations to all who got through in the cup competition that really matters for our sides 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Tamar.man
Callington 1 cullumpton 3 Decided to take in this game, two similar teams , experience and youth in both teams, only difference between them was two blunders by the callington keeper, who looked bit suspect all game, callington had a player sent off which to me was wrong ,two players going full pelt for the ball both connect with the ball at same time, both players go down , cullumpton player plays dead for 2mins , handbags red card for home player cullumpton player makes sudden recovery gets up continued in game , ref was good untill then, very sparse crowd 40 maybe , good turn out from east devon,

Up the point 💛🖤💛 Nothing to do with SWPL/Western League standards for me, we just weren’t at the races at all. Good start from Torpoint, few school boy errors from us and well capitalised by a well drilled side who knew their jobs to a tee. Best of luck to Torpoint for the season, good club and people involved. Top class programme and well officiated. mattelot, Marcus Grose, RAPPO and 3 others

Graham Deacon
Dobwalls 3 Sticker 2 Sticker with only one league win to date started with a bang and in the third minute took the lead through Alfie Flack who scored with a very good shot from an acute angle that went in via the post. 12 mins into the match and Sticker are two up with a well worked goal ending in Matt Searle passing the ball into the net. 23 mins into the half and things are looking bad for Dobwalls when the referee adjudges that Dobwalls’ keeper Toby Chapman has brought down Flack, penalty. However Chapman makes a very good save from Tallis’s penalty and within 5 minutes Dobwalls get one back through Jake Anderson. Then in the 32nd minute Anderson scores the goal of the match, going past two players and hitting a good shot into the corner of the net. Half time and 2-2 Second half Dobwalls had the best chances and in the 57th minute substitute Oscar Larrieu forces the ball home from close range. Fyneboy had a good chance to score 5 minutes later but not taken. Dobwalls see the game out to take all 3 points but if the penalty had been converted it may well have been a different result. justanopinion
Any club will 'hold in there' if they recruit well. It somewhat makes a mockery of team/club name when the most successful clubs are simply the ones who are able to recruit the better players through whatever means. Good Luck to them. Dave Deacon
1 hour ago, leedsunited said: No Dave, the Swpl is crap 😂 If you think the West may not be as strong this year, there will be however 7 East teams in Monday's FA Vase draw including 3 that beat Step 5 opposition. Adding in both rounds only St Blazey winning at Elmore has gone in favour of West over East, in previous years West outperforms East, but clearly not this season. East v other leagues - 9 wins, 3 defeats (Inc 1 on penalties) West v other leagues - 2 wins, 10 defeats!
Xanie25
Well done to Ivybridge thier performance was brillant and a deserved victory over Millbrook. I think Millbrook are not motivated at the moment and far too many players are being switched all the time there is no consistency. Think the managers have to be more positive and get 2 strikers up front who stay in that position for the next few games and players near a full game you cannot bring on subs to the last 10/15 mins and expect them to rescue a match. Credit to Ivybridge as they benefit from a unorganised Millbrook

John Mead
The restructure is there to give any club the opportunity to move up the pyramid based on their current performancies. As I've mentioned before, if you take the best players out of any league and replace them with players from the leagues below, it's bound to weaken it. It will gradually settle down but the important thing is that each league becomes competitive and all clubs are playing at an appropriate, sustainable level. Cornwall is unique as the only County which borders just one other County; the player pool is thus restricted and also shrinking faster than anyone would like - but that's a situation we have to live with. Unfortunately, there is no magic solution. MattP, JonColenzo, Toroloco13 and 3 others
