Edit: just seen the twitter post from A&B, very oddly worded as they say we were prepared to play, hinting there's been more to it than is being let on. Phil Hiscox of the SW Peninsula League has a system in which you can request a blank Saturday if you are aware of specific events coming up (Boardmasters, stag weekends and weddings etc), does the Western League have the same? You can’t odds a coach breaking down Jesus Christ a mate of mine plays for bitton and sent me a video of them still there at 2pm I appreciate the revenue being lost and the preparation for a match day going to waste but to say it should not happen at step 5 is abit of a stretch. Blistering start saw Ashes 2-0 in first 10 before Ilfracombe scored from direct free kick. Third before halftime killed the game with the last rites being administered by the referee. So for example we asked to go a club on a Saturday before the fixtures were done but offered another one would have to be midweek as a result.
