Just for the record and in case anyone’s interested, here’s the results for our Cornish clubs in the Western Premier

Helston Athletic   1-1   Torpoint Athletic

Saltash United  3-3    Mousehole

Brief report: Mousehole in front after 14 mins through a well worked move finished by Diallo, 25th minute Saltash get equaliser through Hughes. 40 mins and Mousehole back in front through a Watkins tap in. Second half starts and in first minute Saltash awarded a penalty which looked a little soft to me as a neutral, Barker converts it well, 2 - 2 now. 68 mins and Saltash take the lead through Jake Miller (think correct scorer) Mousehole press hard to get an equaliser and finally in the 91st minute of the match scramble the ball home, may have been an own goal. Entertaining game, Western League definitely seems more physical than SWPL and obviously quicker.
