On Saturday, Lafrowda Park, in the People's Republic of St Just, witnessed the ignominious defeat of an evil colonial empire and the rising of revolutionary hope, enthusiasm and political change. Here is a story to cheer up the oppressed proletariat in these times of war, privation, national isolation from Europe, environmental catastrophe, and the prospect of the Tories starving or freezing us to death 

Young people of Penwith, please bear these scores in mind if approached deviously by representatives of Smacktown Council Pitch Magpies, Woodpeckers and Weasels FC, clad in black and white, inducing future membership of a club playing "a better standard." They only cling to the basement of "senior" league membership because of their excellent political connections, having infiltrated football decision-making for decades. You will recognise them from the rhythmic drilling sound of their persistent tapping, tapping, tapping up.  Humiliatingly,  they have now turned belly upward to beg players and mercenary favours from Helston, rendering themselves a client state !

No disrespect intended to Pendeen, Mousehole, Hayle and St Ives, but where is the capital of Penwith football ?

ANYWHERE BUT PENZANCE ! No longer in the hands of the 1 per cent of fat cats who have ruined local cricket, fishing , public services and the country ! A rotten tree lives only in its rind. 

My support is for the real, heroic LABOUR of Cornish football, not the CAPITAL. (No, not Starmer either). My support is for a great working-class grassroots club, proudly wearing the green and black of the West Penwith cliffs, resisting invasion, immolation and assimilation. COME ON YOU TINNERS !
