Thx TMH - Beth Martin with all four for Penryn. Anyone able to tell us who scored Wendron’s?

I know every manager will say it’s performances not results in pre-season … but Penryn have had a helluva pre-season 💥

Anyone able to share the RNAS Culdrose vs Charlestown result?

RNAS Culdrose 4-1 Charlestown (Culdrose goals Molly Ellis x 2, Kate Phelps & Lizzie Hosking)

Wendron's goalscorer was Rachel Roder, her first goal having only started playing last season. Much better than the first game against them which was played at short notice with a short squad due to someone pulling out.

Hasn't been the best start this year with injuries, one out for the season potentially with an ACL, one on crutches with a dodgy kneecap, one with a broken toe! Few coming back from other knocks though so starting to get there again. Good news for us this year is that three players have scored their first goals during pre-season and scoring was our issue last year. Fingers crossed with a few more faces back in we can get a little bit closer this year.

We play Redruth this Sunday, 11am at Kellaway Park in the finals day of Helston's Summer Tournament, followed by Helston VS Saltash so should be a good day down there.

Redruth 1 Callington 6

Goalscorer Gemma Walsh

Difficult to write a report as the match was interrupted by a serious injury to our goalkeeper. Thank you to the ambulance crew for thier assistance, and we wish her the very best in recovery.

Thank you to Callington who travelled west, who were fantastic in supporting our injured player and scored some cracking goals too. We wish you the very best for the season.

Another cracking gate with over 60 people in attendance, boosted by the under 15 girls playing before.

We are looking for a friendly for next week, so contact me on 07485 102389 if you wish to arrange.

Results posted above. Sending best wishes for a speedy recovery to Redruth’s keeper.

I was at Mousehole vs Dropship in a crowd of around 35-40. Despite the scoreline both teams will probably take positives from the game. Mousehole were worth all eight of their goals - well organised with a very strong defence and some real flair up front. Sophie Wilson in particular caught the eye, scoring a hat-trick and looking dangerous every time she was on the ball. Mousehole’s other goals came from Charlotte Priest (2), Jodie Gardener, Beau Cowan-Dickie and Sam Richards.

Dropship were taking on a team from a higher division and giving a few players their debuts. It took them a little while to settle and they tired later on but they had a really good spell in the middle of the game - scoring one and conceding one between the 22nd and 64th minutes - showing what they should be capable of when their league campaign starts.
