Was a good game I thought Darin, our fitness levels ain't quite there yet but as a whole the way we moved the ball n found ourselves in positions to score or at least shoot is a massive improvement on last season, still a bit to work on but we'll get there, good luck to penryn for their coming season, decent bunch of lads, thanks for making the trip up n having a drink after.

watched a more than decent end to end game tonight at Blaise Park. Could have easily been about 4-4 at half time if it wasn’t for some good goalkeeping, wasteful finishing and the crossbar! The SWPL team came through in the end with some good finishes but Blazey didn’t  let themselves down at all, would go as far to say if that’s their ECPL side for the season they’ll come close to winning it I should think?

Some quality young players on display tonight, particularly in a green shirt.  Good to see Lafs, Sweeter, Mass and Richie from Sticker there tonight for a quick chat.

Off to Liskeard v Callington tomorrow night to see the opening match of the 22/23 SWPL season with a bit of luck.

Wednesday 4th

Liskeard Athletic Reserves 0-3 Bodmin Town  Attendance: 103

Good minutes in the legs against higher league opposition, got slightly caught out for their 2 goals in first half but adjusted to the pace of the game and after that didn’t look troubled and kept the ball well for long spells and created some good chances through hard graft. Good luck to Matt and his squad for the new season.
