Some pretty massive games in there.
Parkway looking for a win at Barnstaple to almost secure the league.

Taunton need 3 points in a derby  to have 1 hand on the league title at their rivals Tiverton

western super mate still hope to go up so will need to beat Truro.

Bideford clinging on to staying up will need to beat Willand.

They have a match day bench of  3 players 1 of them is yetton who must be getting on for 40.
tell you everything , no wonder they are getting beat , nothing to change it.

Would have thought that with essentially nothing left to play for this season, we might have seen one or two of these promising Truro City youngsters we keep hearing about getting some sort of experience in the squad.

Not listening to wotton sounds more like he more concerned with players who want out.

You don't just throw kids who play u18 footy into southern league prem football.

Need to work their way up surely... Even if they are a great talent as surely they would be turning out for a Falmouth /bodmin/blazey etc already

But Paul wotton already said that the players in his squad will be ditched as they are not trying and in his words more interested in who they signing for next season so surly the under 18s out more effort in. Hardly like Truro have anything to play for.

Barnstaple 0 Parkway 4 (Willliams, Crago 2, Hall)

Parkway can put the champagne on ice, pretty much champions and automatically promoted. Could not see that coming 5 months ago!!

Parkway.  Played 36, 78 points GD +49
Frome Played 36, 75 points, GD + 41

Draw against Cinderford on Saturday will be good enough, but even a defeat would leave Frome needing to correct a deficit of 8 in the goal difference column.

Judging by his comments on Saturday (and before today's beating),sounds like a summer of upheaval at Truro. With Parkway now offering step 3 football, and Tavi looking like they will be in step 4, how is Paul Wotton going to attract players to a club with no ground that is effectively up for sale?

Watched the St. Pirans game between Truro and Redruth and no disrespect none of the Truro boys stood out as Southern league players.

Be interesting to see where  these magical signings wotton is going to make with no ground. About 40 fans paying to watch and much reduced budget.
surly a few of the under 18s should be at least on the bench match day to get a feel of it.

Paul Wotton stating post match "that will change next year 100%"!

Is this not all a bit counter productive when the season isn’t even finished. He pretty much thrown the team under the bus after the last game in his interview suggesting players have given up as they look to new teams next season. All is not well in that changing room.

At least 150 Parkways at Barnstable today. Great atmosphere. Not sure about a handfull of home fans singing " you can stick your Cornish pasties up your arse"  🤔 .And for the record no pasties on sale lol.

Barnstaple  will have plenty of opportunities to sample genuine Cornish pasties next season.

Not as easy as just bringing in a couple reserve players due to league & intermediate cup rules it isn’t  possible.

Play the lads and it  makes them a senior player again and would mean missing out on the semi final and final.
