Grassrootsgary Posted December 4, 2021 Report Share Posted December 4, 2021 Bude 2-3 st Dom 3 been away for a while but was back today despite the hurricane like weather down at bude. st Dom elected to kick into the wind for the first half and hoped they could weather the storm. Bude didn’t create much with the wind behind them, and after 20 minutes st Dom broke the deadlock with pretty much their first real attack when Ryall cut a ball back to Prescott who cooly slotted home for 1-0. st Dom then weathered the remainder of the first period after jamie blatchford made a big save late on. into the second half and st Dom looked dangerous early on and the pressure told when a Ryall free kick sailed into the far corner from a wide angle. St Dom continued on the front foot and when prescott beat 3/4 men running deep from midfield was brought down in the box, stu fort stepped up to put st Dom 3 up and cruising. the weather then took a change and the wind died down and bude grew into th game in the final 15 mins and scored from a penalty. St Dom then had a penalty of their own once more after ryall was brought down, this time fort failed to convert to seal the win and almost instantly broke and scored after some good play from the bude forward squared for a tap in. st Dom then dug deep and defended resolutely in the final 5 minutes to seal a well deserved away win in very tough conditions. Man of the match went to Ryall Massive well done to the referee who wasn’t fooled when the bude number 10 hit the deck on numerous occasions trying to win penalties. Sijames Posted December 5, 2021 Report Share Posted December 5, 2021 Well wish I didn’t take the Redruth game in, my grandson and myself braved the weather to watch this one and I must admit I wish we’d gone to watch a Trelawny league game as the standard would of been better!
