Martin Eddy
Redruth United 5 (2) Perranporth 1 (1) attendance about 15. Redruth put in a really good team performance at Clijah Croft to deserve the win and credit to Perranporth for not giving up . Ground looking good with the new railings around the pitch and the management must be really pleased with today’s performance. perranporth keeper made a brilliant save in the first half to prevent a shot destined for the top corner. nice to see some of our u18’s coming on and not looking out of place. Special mention to the referee Neal (pitty) Pitt on his first St. Pirans game. Did a good job. Also had the pleasure of speaking to his dad Dennis and reminiscing. Glen Patterson
St Dominick 4-1 Penryn (Southeard) A decent game to be fair, very lively 1st half, both teams not happy about having a goal disallowed each for offside. Went in at ht 1-1. 2nd half St Dominick took over & were deserved winners. St Dominick awarded 3 penalties & scored all 3. Penryn went up there with bare 11 but battled until the end, brought us back down to earth after pumping most teams in our league recently. Pitch was decent & the spread put on at the pub was the best we have ever had. Best of luck to St Dominick, will take a very good side to beat them. skinner, Thecupfootballblogger, Martin Hunn and 2 others
Mongoose
Launceston Res 1-2 Torpoint Res Really tight match, could've been either side picking up the result on another day i think.
Brian Jones
Thanks for your match summary which was a fair reflection on this afternoon’s encounter. Pleased that you enjoyed the spread at The Who’d. 👍👏👏 Glen Patterson

Heard a few of your boys saying we had 1st team players in, when we honestly didn't, as they had bare 11 today too 😂 But that's a compliment. But as I said, better team won. RAPPO
Be some aching legs there this morning Patts! Some great defending the 2nd half mate! 3 or 4 limping last 10 minutes, looked over at the bench and only saw Popey, Tom with his physio bag and JD in his tracksuit!!! Great result considering 👏🏼⚽️ Heard you had bare bones up St.Dom as well!! Hopefully both teams will have some bodies back next week mate 👍⚽️ Glen Patterson

Foul Throw 3
Groundhopper, if you see your opposition are down to bare 11/12, it gives you a psychological edge knowing an injury/tiredness cannot be subbed off and a lack of options if you need to make changes. Would be common sense for me to name subs on a team sheet even if no intention of playing to limit this. RAPPO and Glen Patterson
