ECPL Covid-cup FINAL... one last blast for 20/21?

Hi guys hope you are all doing well!

You may have seen we have a 2-legged cup final against Devonians Mount Gould coming up. This looks like it could be the last fully competitive footy we will see for a bit at least till the restart in August and we want to go out with a bit of a bang!

We don’t expect too much on the pitch from the 2 legs –Mount Goulds quality and table-topping position would definitely put us in the position of “underdogs” – however we will be giving it our all and would like to be able to put a bit of a show on for all the spectators.

The away (for us) leg is this coming Saturday at Bodmins’ Priory Park, and our home leg is the following Saturday 5^th June – both 2:30pm kick offs. We are hoping to christen our newrefreshment hut on the day, as well as show off our shiny new dugouts!!!! 

It would be great if we could get a bit of a crowd there on the day – and we wouldn’t necessarily ask you to cheer us on !! – as it would really give the game a great atmosphere worthy of a cup final. The league are looking to do the presentation after the game, we have 3 officials appointed by the FA and it already looks like the weather is improving!

If there is any way you could pass the word around your friends, team and own supporters we would be delighted to welcome you atCargoll Rd for one last blast in the 2020/21season.....entry will be free with a £1 “50/50 draw” on the gate.
