Dave Deacon Posted May 19, 2021 Report Posted May 19, 2021 As expected there’s a few comments circulating about the “travel” aspect from a few further up the country! 🤭
Home Waters Posted May 19, 2021 Report Posted May 19, 2021 Bitton to Mousehole 200 miles, 4hour coach trip, where's the reduced travel and cost. A good league but come on . . . . . . .😎
Both Sides of the Tamar Posted May 19, 2021 Report Posted May 19, 2021 But with two sides (one from SWPL West and East respectively) coming up each season slowly the Western League will have a more Western feel to it. Of course, some Devon or Cornwall clubs will come back down from time to time, but I can see the WL before too long losing the Bristol sides.
shots Posted May 20, 2021 Report Posted May 20, 2021 Maybe some sides are spending mega bucks to get into Southern League and avoid the travelling to Devon & Cornwall 😊👍
Philheybrookbay Posted May 21, 2021 Report Posted May 21, 2021 It makes me laugh. A team having to drive a maximum of 60 miles once a season in Buckinghamshire to Leicester claiming financial ruin. That's less than Saltash to Wendron for pitied sake. Dave Deacon and TheolderIgetthebetterIwas 1 1
play for the badge Posted May 27, 2021 Report Posted May 27, 2021 wouldn’t bother harder than you think
