ARE SPECTATORS ALLOWED INTO ANY OF THESE GAMES

Until Monday it's still the case that spectators are not permitted to watch games taking place on private land, that is other than adults needed to supervise U18s that they have a responsibility for or providing care or assistance to a person with disabilities.

Different though if it's a public park set-up

Absolutely ridiculous trip. Like bude away to Illogan. Not as if there will be any holiday traffic, given 2 days notice to sort a team and getting the players  there, which have work and families.

Should of played west v west and east v east. Keep it local until semi final. 🤯

Never seen a competition where you get punished for winning your group!?  Hayle 125 mile round trip to Launceston and Bude 120 mile round trip to Illogan the reward for dominating their groups! 🤔😳 Bit of a weird one but at least there’s been some meaningful football played over the last few weeks producing some cracking games so let’s give the league credit for that. Hope the teams can get together virtually full strength sides for the trips and make all 4 games close ones!? Wouldn’t like to call any of the results from what looks like a really strong Qtr Final line up. Good luck to all 👍🏆

Rappo. Doesn’t help when finances in clubs are near zero. No income then have to do 100 miles round trips. If they had kept west v west and east v east for the quarter finals we would have had Hayle v st day and Penryn v Illogan in the west. Then neutral pitches in between the two semi final sides. Makes sense to me.

Still in restrictions as well.

Problem with the semi-finals is that not many clubs want to host. Also why didn't clubs come up with these potential issues when the draws were first given out in March? At least then something could have been done about it rather than a week before.

I am disabled. I will rent myself out to anyone so they can pretend to be my carer. Also I might be able to chuck in a couple of under 18's for a fee. 😜

Agree with all been said but we/clubs/secs are as much at fault as nobody picked up on it when the rules were released or brought it up as an issue when the proposal/rules were first made or issued.
Know it’s a massive pain and could be seen as an unfair advantage but at the end of the day, you’re playing competitive football and have the opportunity that most other teams or lads don’t have at the moment - so make the most of it! Know after going out on goal difference last night we’d do anything to have been playing a competitive game this weekend whether it had been in Bude, St Mawgan, Polperro or anywhere else.
Best of luck to the teams involved on Saturday and thanks to the league for giving us an extra month or so of football!

At least with the semi finals you would have time to sort out travel, players, Lino’s, busses etc even if they were north Cornwall. 2 days notice to travel 100 miles etc with players that work have families etc isn’t enough time, especially if you have won your group like Penryn, Hayle, Polperro and bude.
Obviously there has been an over sight by the all the clubs that wasn’t noticed in March. Harry is right in what he has been saying. Its wrong.

There are a load of players who would love the chance to play, just get on with it and stop winging.

Probably looks like moaning at these times unless you’re the team that’s worked hard to win your group and get no advantage whatsoever for doing so. Surprised the league came up with that strange format and even more surprised no one picked up on it earlier than the penultimate group games. Did hear this afternoon that St.Mawgan played an ineligible player last night and St.Austell have gone through? Apologies if that’s wrong but heard from a very reliable source who’s usually spot on

Correct St Austell  V   Penryn  and St Day playing at Penryn due to cricket

Our trip isn't as far, but its a joke our 4 clubs STILL don't have home advantage. Feel for Bude, Polperro and Hayle.

Not too late to change it..........Or is common sense too much to ask 🤷‍♂️

Actually don’t mind an away day to Penryn, great pitch to play on and get to play our regular pre-season rivals at St Day. I’m hoping it’s still Joff’s round....

Have the league given a reason as to why the group winners are away from home?

I don’t really see why they have to give a reason! It was clearly in the rules sent out in March how the format was going to be. No one queried it at the time.
