Ian Pethick
Parkway move into the last 16 of the Vase with a victory that was far more comfortable than the result suggests. Profligate finishing and a fine visiting goalkeeper kept the "home" side down to two first half goals from Mikey Williams and River Allen. A goal in stoppage time from Clevedon brought it back to 2-1 and created unwanted tension in the final minutes, but couldn't stop Parkway moving out on to Flackwell Heath of the Hellenic League at Coach Road on the 24th April. Draw for the quarter finals made at 1pm today, and should Flackwell be overcome. it's either Tavistock or United Services Portsmouth in the last eight. Potential for either a Devon or Dockyard Derby. Really good highlights package available on Parkway's Youtube site.
