The way the PM spoke yesterday, I think lock down may be extended again. Covid is still out there and is still killing people. Don't book an air holiday abroad yet either, the virus figures are soaring all over Europe.

Hope you're wrong, fear that you're right Keith. Saw a particularly frightening story on Newsnight yesterday concerning how worried scientists are about importation of new variants which our current vaccines are less effective against, and in particular our failure (after 12 months) to seal the borders. Personally, i had my first jab about a month ago, but i would lying if i said i wasn't concerned about getting the promised (and required) second shot by the middle of May. Can't see the UK/EU war of words regarding supply ending well.

Anyway, back on topic, I would be surprised if the Senior and Junior Cups will get played to a conclusion this season. Wouldn't the same issues regarding control of crowds and opening of clubhouses just make them unviable?

Re your last para WOTP yes surely they would. We all want to see the Covid lockdown regulations eased, but it must not be rushed. The last thing we want is another big upsurge of the virus or its variants.

Come on people, have the vaccination when it's offered. It might just save your life and the lives of others.
