St Just 10 (TEN) Frogpool 1. Eight shared by two Tinners both called Ashley. First away goal conceded at Lafrowda...well done the Frogpool Number 9.

9 between the two of them (5 for Ellis, 4 for Meags). The other for young George Harry.

Thanks to frogpool for staying for a drink, good bunch of lads 👍

Well done to Constantine for getting the game on after the weather we have had over the past 48 hours

Constantine had more of the ball but couldn't get that final pass where as Dropship were more clinical with there chances

Goalscorers

Ben Fletcher

Luke Ewins

Ryan Mitchell

Peter Norfolk

Next game is the return fixture vs Mount Ambrose which last time was a good match

Premier

Goonhaveren 2  Stithians  2  h/t 1-0

The match at a windy and cold Reen Parc between the third and fourth placed teams ended with honours even.Goonhavern had the best of the first half but did not create many clear cut chances until ann angled cross to the far post was met with a deft header by the left winger running in.

Early in the second half Stithians worked the ball across from their left side, ending with a Treve Bale shot from the edge of the penalty area high into the net.Shortly after,a clearance from an under pressure Stithians central defender from just inside his own half flew over the home custodian into the net. After these setbacks Goonhavern attacked in numbers and were denied by some stubborn defending and safe goalkeeping. With about ten minutes to go,Goonhavern's tricky winger was brought down in the area and the resultant penalty was dispatched.

A good game in the swirling wind and enjoyable to referee. Both assistants were top drawer too.

A big shout out to Darren Stephens for the way that he ran the club today, setting everything up,testing everyone, pumping up the balls, running thebar, etc.Best wishes to Will Hoskings who is in hospital suffering from Covid 19 and is,i understand,on the road to recovery.

Division 3

Tregony 2-3 Falmouth DC

Decent game played in good spirits. Should’ve been more goals. Lots of missed chances including a penalty for them.

Goals for us from Bobby Dawes x2, and Marc Adams, who also put in a man of the match performance.

Great bunch of the lads. Referee was decent and a laugh as well. Enjoyable afternoon of footy.

Prem side v Div 4 team was always gonna be a goal fest 👀👀 #GloryHunters

As I'm sure you are aware David, we were well out of our depth in the Premier Division after several unwarranted promotions and then a raft of players leaving. I thought you would remember playing for us last season alongside Peter Norfolk but imagine that's best ignored as it wouldn't fit the Dropship not taking players from any other teams rhetoric along with a few others......

Any chance of backing up your suggestion Wrightcat9 with more than just a oneliner?

No wonder less and less people bother posting on here!

Every club needs (but is not lucky to have) a Darren Stephens - what a man. Best wishes to Will too.
