Back from a cold Godophin Way gladi wrapped up well , very impressed with the new look G the defence was well organised really impressed with the goalie he commands his are well and  the defence listen to him i thought Dobwalls  where at fault with both of there goals mix up with ex G goalie Toby Chapman and the defence gave 2 easy chances for the G players, the the G goalie was at fault with 1 of the Dobwalls  goals Dobwalls had a frree kick the goalie saved it but pushed it straight to a Dobwalls player who just knocked it into the goal 2-2 ht .In the 2nd half Dobwalls came out and dominated really and should of been out of site but awful finishing greedy play and brilliant G defending saw the game out and this G side played really well and even hit the crossbar but so did Dobwalls who also missed a pen when he hit the bar .Really enjoyable match DOBWALLS got some really good players and Kelvin Fyneboy played really well very skillfu lbut greedy at times but hes still myMOM for Dobwalls an dthe Blonde No11 for the G .Well done to both just the pick me up i needed thought the ref had a excellent game .See you next week G good point

St Blazey 0v0 Saltash. Att.125

Could have won it, maybe should have. Good point though against the title contenders especially after going down to ten men after just 2 minutes.

Freezing cold afternoon. Welcome to winter.

Pitch wasnt to badly cut up. Clubhouse goal mouth will need some tlc.

Just back from Blazey.  Fair result I think.  Ref made a massive decision to send the Blazey player off early doors.  It was always going to end 10v10. I didn’t see the Callum o brien foul, but I believe he was last man, but he only got a yellow. After that, unless he was subbed, he was always going to get a second yellow.
I don’t think either team really deserved the win, loads of long balls going out of play, you could tell this was the first game after a long break.

on a more sour note, I’d like to bring attention to the rent-a-gobs in the back row of the stand (Argyle fans, aparantly).  I went to the game with my 9 year old lad, and the language was horrendous, especially when it was aimed at the ref. I took it upon myself to have a word with them, and also bought it up with the Blazey chairman at half time ( I even pointed them out to Him).By this time, they were also harassing a couple of women, who had also had enough of their language.  Saltash were fined a few weeks ago for far less!!!!!

To the hardworking St Blazey Committee this isnt a dig at your efforts. You did us Ashes fans proud with your covid controls and welcome.

But that rent a mob which developed into verbal spat in front of the FA referee inspectors when you had females yelling obscene words and young lads interrupting the game to us in the main stand during the 1st half does your club zero, and I mean zero credit. Females shouting the C word, homophobic comments from lads.

Before the game I commented in Twitter I was looking forward to visiting Blazey. Trust me, I'll think long and hard before I return if that's now the expected norm.

I ain't a prude, but it was pretty vile.

Agreed. Absolutely disgraceful, & I hope the Ccfa are notified & they are prevented from attending any local football matches again.

Language was disgusting, & I am hearing a few of these characters were at the Falmouth game last season where again Women & Children were verbally abused. Shocking, act now guys.

St. Blazey getting a name for themselves now with this 'wannabe' hard man group. I wonder who or what attracts them with St. Blazey... 🤔

First it was Falmouth away, then it was a daddy running on the pitch, after a tackle, now this.. All in 10 months, not good for the club at all. Tail wagging the dog it seems.

Certainly not the norm.

Lock down does strange things to people.

That is not and will not be tolerated at St Blazey.

Thanks Paul- Like I said, your committee have done so much to get Blazey back from the old West division pit, but this connection with "Argyle" is not doing the club any any favours.

Hopefully you can as a club discourage these idiots and quickly. I'll be back as I still like Blazey pitch as a neutral.

Fantastic result for Millbrook. Great atmosphere at Jenkins Park. Millbrook showed thier pace up front with Foster and Sheperd in great form. An early goal from Sherborne against the run of play but soon it was Millbrook with all the possession and they took control of the game. Superb goal by Sheperd only downside was Hamilton picking up an injury but all the subs played thier part and I lok forward to the next round but the big match will be versus Torpoint it will be a cracker on Boxing Day

Thoroughly deserved win by Millbrook.  It was bloody freezing and my thanks to Mark Pratten for a hot coffee.  Unfortunately I was dinking it when Millbrook scored their second goal so didn't get a decent picture of it.  Looking at the match as a whole I felt Millbrook were winning all their individual  battles.  But it was their sheer persistence which won the day.  Very quick up front with Shepherd a constant threat, well marshalled in midfield by Tom Payne and nothing got past Jake at the centre of the defence.  To think this club almost died.  The whole club should be proud of themselves.  A perfect example of a well run club both on and off the field.  Good luck in the next round.

Yes some do. But not these. I seen them come in. Never been seen before.

Give your head a wiggle Paul, even  supporters said that some were recognised from the Falmouth game when they attacked the clubhouse with Women & Children inside... Then yesterday behaviour was appalling in the Home Grandstand, one guy even speaking to the culprits with his son beside him. Frightening experience.

They must have a St blazey connection as why does it always happen at St. Blazey fixtures... The old guard that made the club great  would be so so disappointed...

I was the guy with the son that was talking to them,  they said ‘sorry about the language, but that’s football’.  I replied ‘that may be what you do in league football, but this is non- league and we don’t behave like that down here’.

Not sure how you can drag Argyle into it - yes they may be from Plymouth, yes they may support Argyle but do we then blame every club that a miscreant supports? And just playing devil's advocate - do we not hear the very same bad language on the pitch and more often than not it goes unpunished. Not condoning it in any way but let's have some perspective.

They’re argyle fans.  One of them simply said ‘thats what we do at Argyle’.  I’d like to think we are a bit more civilised in this league.  As of yesterday, I’d not heard anyone refer to the ref as a “ g*y black c**t’.

It may get you a few quid on the turnstile and behind the bar, but do you really want that sort of person supporting your team!!!

Disgusting. Well done 'TimmyRaa' for being brave enough to confront these wannabe hooligans. Hoping the older lady that was upset was OK also?

I'm sure it will be reported to the relevant authorities.

On a different note, if like Paul says they were escorted out of the club at Half Time, should of they even been in there if they were from Plymouth being level two tier in the Government restrictions..? Surely that's not allowed?

This would also mean that the majority of both teams wouldn't of been allowed to travel down for the game! As for the Blazey "supporters" they would all probably drink in the same pub as the management, they think they are hooligans. In a group they think they are fighters, get one on his own and they would run a mile. The only way to get rid of these chavs is to sack the management and get proper people back in the once great club.

Under the circumstances Leeds, your condemnation of St Blazey hooligans using bad language is a little like the pot calling the kettle black, when in the past you have defended the language coming from the Bodmin bench as being a part of modern day football.
Football would be well rid of the blasphemous language used both on and off the pitch and it sounds as if the language used at St Blazey was poor in the extreme, but until you deal with the root cause of the problem it will flourish out of control.
As Le Boss has said in his earlier comment, you often hear foul language coming from the pitch at football matches, it is an offence that should be dealt with by officials   but more often than not goes unpunished because someone has decreed that it's an accepted part of the game.
We are beginning to reap the rewards of that attitude !

Because these lads can’t get into argyle at the minute with the restrictions on fans. They have chosen to go into Cornwall and watch blazey as they are friends with the management. . Your are correct they shouldn’t even be allowed in the club house drinking under current guidelines . What I don’t understand is why the committee at blazey  find this acceptable

I don’t see this happening at parkway who have hosted many argyle fans this season.

A community club is built on youngsters and family coming to watch all this is doing is forcing them away

My point is that you cannot blame Argyle - weren't two players sent off? Which teams do they support? Do we blame those teams for their sendings off?

How would any committee in the world know people would turn up and behave like that? We dont have Mystic Meg on the top table.

Why is it always St blazey fc having trouble Paul if there is NO connection with anyone? Why is St blazey always dragged through the mud, one of Cornwalls most proud football clubs being embarrassed again, the good guys that built the football club would be mortified to see it abused like it's being for a select few to think they are in the big time. Suggest they stick to the Sunday league they know..

A lady crying in the grandstand, & a man with a young son ask this group to keep the language down. Racism towards the Ref .... Come on Paul, you know exactly who they are connected with... Surely the committee are not that naive.. 🙄

If the Chairman and Committee are serious about stopping this appalling situation from happening in future at St Blazey, they can request police attendance. They would probably have to pay for the police to attend, but it would go a long way to preventing it from happening again.

Also, the police have the power to have the club alcohol licence withdrawn. Hard on loyal and decent supporters, but these actions would go a long way to prevent further episodes.

Regarding the Blaise Park issue, no need to worry guys I’m sure the FA referee inspectors will be able to help with describing the situation to the appropriate authorities if they are required.

In the meantime, what a result for St Blazey on the pitch. Competed all over the park with Saltash and it’ll be interesting to see how the Green and Black’s squad progresses from here.

Callington away this coming Saturday.

The safety at sports grounds act has been in operation for many years now. I doubt that you will find any clubs prepared to risk selling alcohol for consumption inside the ground. The sanctions are quite severe along with the risk of losing your license.

Have seen it this season, drinking on the touch line and an assessor of some description in the stand. Not sure if any sanctions would be made public?

You really are a sad little dweeb aren’t you Leeds! Jumping onto the coat tails of others to spout your pathetic Anti St Blazey agenda just that bit more.

The Vice Chairman of the club has confirmed that these imbeciles who attended have never been seen before but thats not good enough for you is it? You need to automatically tie the issue to the innocent management team who are working there bollocks off to try and make a great club like Blazey a success.

If these supporters were Plymouth based, has anybody actually got any evidence that they were there supporting Blazey and were not in fact following Saltash? Seems more logical to me!

I wont expect a well reasoned response Leeds as lets face it, facts are not really your thing. If you ever fancy putting a name to a face though I am at most St Blazey matches and will happily share a pint to try and understand this hatred of the club.

Absolutely not! “TimmyRaa” gave an open and honest, first hand assesmemt of the situation he witnessed and done so without feeling the need to bash the club or the management team in the process.

All you have done is taken this information and manipulated it to suit your own pathetic agenda.

These fans are associated with the ST Blazey management team - False

These fans were at the Falmouth game - False

Have you any idea how damaging this mis information may be to both the club and the individuals you are accusing? I suggest you try attending the game in person before throwing your nonsense around in the future. You’re credibility on this site may improve a tad.

Whilst not going into the bashing of St Blazey (as I've stated at the start of this thread and on Twitter the committee of St Blazey are and have been commended for the actions on Covid control) and having followed Saltash for nearly 30 years, Alan it is false to say that they could and were more likely to be from Saltash. Indeed from the kick off those lads were clearly supporting and chanting for St Blazey using Argyle chants. I've known Tim for nearly 30 years and his response was both correct, measured and acted in the correct manner. Equally I can take Paul's comments that they were not known by St Blazey AFC is being correct and accurate.

I guess, the actions will now come down to the report if one is submitted by the referees assessors who were sat in the middle section of the stand wearing FA branded coats. They will make the decision I guess and not this forum.

I have been to StBlazey severel times this year and its a lovely club ran by lovely people like Paul, and all these remarks will drive good people like Paul out of the club let the authorities get on with sorting these individuals out and dont blame the club .As for Leeds while hes slagging St Blazey off hes giving other clubs a break example Newquay an di still say Leeds is Terry Huddy of Bodmin .As for Bodmin i have been there many a times and the language and abuse which i have heard has been awful the get up in the club house and then have a go at visiting supporters mostly young women im not talking of recently because i dont go to Bodmins ground anymore after it has been turned into a prison camp all it needs is towers in each corner ,an dwhen i was told i couldnt bring Smokie in anymore that was it . Oktime to put the St Blazey vs Saltash subject to bed and let the people in authority take what action is needed just leave the club alone Leeds and get on with your own club Bodmin . Dont let this subject drag on for the next 6 months like they usually do talk about the matches .Ok find the people who where causing the trouble and have then hung drawn and quartered before the next St BLAZEY match prematch entertainment .

Absolutely a fair point then Phil, these morons must have came with the intention of causing trouble at ST Blazey and have no affiliation at all to Saltash, apologies if anybody was offended by this.

This is the exact point I was making, Tim and Paul’s comments both ring true and who are we not to believe what they both witnessed? I found Leeds comments to a well respected member like Paul disrespectful to both him and the club he serves so well.

Sad that the actions of a small minority of troublemakers over shadowed what is a great result for the Blazey team but hey, it is what it is I suppose.
